First, the council’s accepted urban crossover materials expressly include coloured and exposed aggregate concrete, so the decorative finish can run unbroken from the garage to the road edge; raised stamped patterns are not accepted. Second, replacing or modifying an existing crossover counts as construction, so a driveway renewal that changes the crossover’s profile, surface or dimensions is assessed the same way a new one is.
